Turkey Chili Made with Leftover Turkey
Hearty and healthy chili recipe for 2 large servings or 4 small servings.
Ingredients
3
cups
leftover turkey
diced
2
tablespoons
chili powder
1
tablespoon
smoked paprika
1
cup
salsa
we used fire-roasted
2
cups
water
or broth
One 15-ounce can black beans
rinsed & drained
One 16-ounce bag frozen onions & peppers
1/2
teaspoon
salt
1/2
teaspoon
black pepper
1 - 2
teaspoons
sugar
optional
For serving: shredded cheese
sour cream, sliced green onions, crushed red pepper
Instructions
Add everything to a large pot.
Bring it to a simmer.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Taste and adjust the seasonings.
Serve with your favorite chili toppings!
