  • 2 medium to large yams/sweet potatoes
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or chili powder to taste
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup Wish-Bone® Sweet & Spicy Honey Mustard Dressing for dip
  • 3 Tbsp mayonnaise for dip

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. Wash and peel sweet potatoes
  3. Cut sweet potatoes into long strips, between 1/4"-12" thick
  4. Rinse well with cold water and dry well with tea towel
  5. Add olive oil and cut sweet potatoes into a large zip bag and shake to coat
  6. Mix cornmeal, brown sugar, corn starch, sea salt, and spices in a bowl
  7. Add cornmeal mixture to zip bag with olive oil covered sweet potatoes
  8. Shake bag well until sweet potatoes are covered well with cornmeal coating
  9. Spread cut sweet potatoes in a single layer on parchment lined baking sheets, without allowing fries to touch or crowd each other
  10. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping after 15 minutes, and watching to ensure fries do not burn
  11. While fries are baking, mix Wish-Bone® Sweet & Spicy Honey Mustard Dressing with mayonnaise
  12. When fries are crispy and browning on edges, remove from oven and serve alongside honey mustard dip
