A Little Background about The Ultimate Blog Party
The Ultimate Blog Party started in 2007 and was the first one of its kind. It ultimately set the goal for how blog parties are conducted. The first party was attended by around 1,000 partygoers.
In 2008, the UBP had over 1500 bloggers participating and UBP related pages had over 72,000 page views, with the main party post received over 20,000 page views.
In 2011, the UBP had 2900 bloggers registering their blogs participating and the main party page alone had 37,000 page views from around 24,000 bloggers.
And it just keeps growing. 2012 popularity has enabled us to restructure the pages to give even more choice, but the party is also growing in the variety of ways online “partygoers” are connected in real life events — from live personal concerts to webcast chats.
