As Moms who blog, we all tend to fall under the label of “Mommy Blogger”.
However, the designation Mommy Blog and the title Mommy Blogger are not always embraced. If you survey a sample group of Moms who blog, you will likely find the majority prefer the term Mom Blogger instead of Mommy Blogger.
Yet individual feelings vary and many women bloggers who focus their writing on their daily lives as mothers of young children often include the word “Mommy” in their blog names.
But if you are a PR rep or someone looking to contact a blogger, I highly recommend you use the more widely appreciated term “Mom Blogger”. You can’t go wrong and you don’t risk insulting the blogger you might be wanting to spread your brand’s message.
