Shop eBay and Support Work-At-Home-Moms

A fabulous way to show support for work at home moms is to Shop on eBay.

I decided to buy a Maya Wrap for Julia and I looked to see who was selling them on eBay. I found a great mom who is an Authorized Maya Wrap Distributor selling these colorful slings at the lowest price possible.

I loved that she showed a picture of her wearing her adorable baby boy in the sling. She also shared her reason for selling Maya Wrap slings:

“The little boy in the picture is our 5 months old son Jakey. We use the Maya Wrap all of the time and we sell Maya Wraps so that we can live off of only one income and Jakey gets to stay at home every day. Thank you for supporting us!”

If your own little ones are now too old for a sling, consider giving a Maya Wrap as a Baby Shower Gift.

I think a sling would be a brilliant baby shower gift!

I have been to so many baby showers, and I am yet to see anyone bring a sling as a gift. This is your chance to get a unique and useful baby shower gift that will allow the new mom to stay attached to baby all day long.

I wish I had had one of these slings for Julia from day one.

    Hi Nettie,

You’re right that asking a new mom whether she’d like a sling can be a good idea. What baby carrier to use can be a bit of a personal decision.

I know I’ve tried about 3 or 4 different ones. Right now I use the Active Baby Bjorn and I’m going to get started with my new Maya Wrap.

One of the advantages of a sling over a baby bjorn is that the bjorn can only be used up to about 26 lbs. Luckily, my Julia is rather little so she still fits, but I wanted to try the Maya wrap so that I can use it as she gets bigger. But I really wish I had started using it from the beginning. I tried on a friend’s and I think it’s great.

    Talk soon,
    Susan

I think baby slings make great baby gifts! I used to give them to everyone. I found they didn’t work for some people, so now I ask first. I make them, too. But I don’t sell them. I couldn’t live without mine. I used to take my son to work with me in his before my stay at home days started. BTW, I like your site. I have to try out that cranberry french toast recipe!
