We are blessed to have such a fantastic team of managing editors and writers that work hard to bring you some truly wonderful posts on our sister sites: 5 Minutes for Books, 5 Minutes for Parenting, 5 Minutes for Faith, 5 Minutes for Special Needs and 5 Minutes for Going Green.
We recently said goodbye to our Managing editor, Kerri, and several of our writers from 5 Minutes for Going Green. While we were sad to see them go, we understood that they had other commitments. We are so thankful for the time that they invested over at 5 Minutes for Going Green and wish them the best of luck in their new endeavors.
You may have noticed that 5 Minutes for Going Green was at a bit of a standstill. But today we are excited to announce that 5 Minutes for Going Green is back!
Please join me in welcoming our new managing editor for 5 Minutes for Going Green, Diana Prichard.
Diana is a rural-living freelance writer, wife and mother of two who loves black toenail polish, taking pictures, vintage-styled aprons, dark chocolate, tomato sandwiches, lip gloss, t-shirts, flip flops, and mason jars. Her work and life can be found on her self-titled personal blog.
We hope that you will begin to make 5 Minutes for Going Green a stop in your blog hopping. There will be fun, informative posts, giveaways and even some new memes. You can also follow 5 Minutes for Going Green on twitter, @5MinGoingGreen.
We’d love for you to take part in their new weekly feature, ‘Green Family Friday‘!
At 5 Minutes for Going Green, we value families and the things — both big and small — that they do together to be a little more friendly to our planet. Each week we’ll be collecting tips, tricks and ideas for green weekend activities from families just like yours! And every Friday morning we’ll feature them for Green Family Friday.
Looking for something to do? Find it! Have a green weekend activity idea? Share it! It really is that simple.
Would you like to participate? Here’s how.
Diana is also adding new contributors to the team. So if you would like to be a writer for 5 Minutes for Going Green, please send your info and link(s) to your site(s) to 5minutesforgoinggreen at gmail dot com. Over the next few weeks, Diana will be sorting through the requests and choosing a few new contributors.
We hope that you enjoy the new things that 5 Minutes for Going Green has in store for you! And once again, welcome to our family, Diana!
