Jackson with his new Grade 2 Suzuki Piano book.

I went in to turn off Jackson’s light the other night and found him asleep with his music book and his Suzuki CD playing in the background. We had just picked up his new grade 2 book at the store that day. So adorable — I had to take a picture!

PS – I asked Jackson’s permission if I could post this photo since he was sleeping and in his PJs and all. He is such a great sport. At first he said, “You are NOT posting that picture.” And I was, “Ohhh, but Jackson it is so fabulous!” And he is such a great kid, he just laughed and said, “Ok!”

  29. i agree…it is a great pic. so nice of you to ask first. i don’t even ask my 12 y.o. son permission to post photos of him on the blog. but i suppose he’s not in his pjs 🙂

  40. That is cute! Glad to hear you have a budding musician. I play the flute, although I haven’t picked it up in a long time. Out here in California it is hard to find good music programs. They’ve taken music out of most of the schools here. It is so sad, because I grew up with it and I want my children to participate in music as much as possible too. Have a wonderful day!

  52. I love that you asked him if it was ok! I probably should start doing that with my girls now that they’re getting older.

    How sweet that he fell asleep with the book. Is it piano lessons that he’s taking? I so want my girls to learn piano – we just need to get one here at home for them to practice on. Someday. 🙂

    He is totally cute and so grown up. It doesn’t matter how old they are, when our children are sleeping, they are the cutest things. I bet he was nothing like this earlier today; settled and peaceful:).
