Am I the only one who ends up with my husband as the last to be crossed off my Christmas shopping list?
Men can be tough to shop for… And even though we’ve been doing lots of extra product reviews in the last couple weeks to help you with your Christmas shopping, we haven’t helped out much in the way of ‘manly’ gifts.
So I thought we’d better fix that quickly. Christmas is coming soon, and I bet I’m not the only one who procrastinates on picking the perfect present for her hubby.
Here are three ideas for great gifts for the man in your life:
- An extra fancy razor like the Philips Norelco Bodygroom.
The Bodygroom is an “All-in-One grooming solution” made just for men.
You can learn all about it from this laugh-out-loud hilarious video featuring a bath-robed man telling his story about his conversion from a ‘lonely hairy guy’ to a clean-shaven woman pleaser.
(But just to warn you… that video is a little on the crude side. They have definitely employed shock value to get men to laugh and forward it around the office.)
- An MP3 player for him to use while he jogs.
If your husband is anything like mine, he might need some extra incentive to put the ‘run’ back in his running shoes. An MP3 player is the perfect way to inspire some alone time exploring the neighborhood with an elevated heart rate.
We recommend this Insignia™ 2GB* MP3 Player and Image Viewer. For just over a hundred dollars, you get 2GB of storage – enough space for 500 songs, 2,000 photos, 25 audiobooks or 7 movies.
And since guys love gadgets, a player like this will give him something to fiddle with once you’ve all unwrapped your gifts and gorged on turkey and pumpkin pie. He can have fun loading it full of songs, videos and photos and then later in the week, he’ll have something to listen to as he burns off those extra holiday calories at the gym.
So your hubby can jog till his breath runs out and he’ll still have more songs to listen to while cooling down and reading his morning paper. And once he gets to work, he can show his office buddies photos and videos of you and the kids.
- Or go all out and get him the ultimate guy gift – a Flat Screen TV.
If your husband has been extra good this year, perhaps it’s time to give him the most sought after of all electronic gifts – a Flat TV.
Every man I’ve ever met loves to sit back and watch a game or a movie on a big screen TV. And now the technology has gotten so good, you just might weaken.
Philips latest TVs include technology to provide ambient backlighting that enhances the viewing experience. You can test it out watching these movie clips that are in full Ambilight.
Oh of course, the best part about a giving ‘dad’ a gift like a high definition TV is that the whole family enjoys it.
And if you decide to go over the top and get him all three gifts, you’ll may find yourself cuddling on the couch with a well-groomed, slimmed-down hubby while you both watch a romantic movie on your new high definition flat TV.
Sounds good to me. 🙂

razor is a good idea. But my husband is crazy about ‘everything ipod’ so I’ll buy him a cute ipod accessory.

Looks like I am a member in a good, but frustrating club! Yes, my husband is impossible to buy for. Actually–he likes it when I am frugal……so for his birthday and Christmas….I wrap him up NOTHING…..and he is very happy! This sounds strange…but it started a couple of years ago when I bought him a very nice, that’s V.E.R.Y. N.I.C.E. watch and he returned it because it cost too much! It was then I realized he was serious about this frugality thing! 🙂
So the kids buy him ordinary gifts……sox, gloves (he has ten pair of winter gloves….!), books, the 24 DVD series, things that we know he will enjoy. So actually–maybe I can’t be a member of this exclusive club afterall….since I just realized we’re already done shopping for hubby! 🙂

My husband is the worst to shop for. He buys everything he wants throughout the year. Then when you do give him things for Christmas, they sit in a neat pile on top of his dresser until August! UGH. Why bother?

Yes, my husband is the hardest to shop for. He’s totally into electronics (which are usually very expensive). I’m running out of time!
