If you read here often, you might have picked up that my son Jackson is intense. He feels everything to the extremes and sometimes the time between his highs and lows can only be measured in milliseconds.
As exhausting and challenging as it is parenting Jackson, it is very entertaining! He is a brilliant, creative, hilarious, passionate person. It is an honor to raise him — I just have to learn how to do it more effectively. 😉
My toddler Olivia is no less entertaining. In fact, I often call her, “The Jackson Encore.” At times I think she may be even more wild than Jackson — get ready!
And just like Jackson, (and their mother!) her facial expressions tell exactly how she is feeling.
This is one of Olivia’s most common expressions. It cracks me up every time I see it.
She is another passionate little being, grabbing hold of life like a chew toy and whipping it around like a puppy on cat nip. (That is if cat nip does anything to puppies… I have never tried it. BTW don’t give that idea to my son…)
