Lovely, Eco-Friendly Gift Wrap from lilywrap

When it comes to gift-giving and presents, my mom and sister really got it going on! They are all about presentation. From the beautiful wrapping paper that is wrapped just right, with no crease out of place or wrinkles to be found, to the fine details of the coordinating ribbons, bows, or other accessories that they use to adorn the package -their gifts are always a treat for the eyes. Me…not so much.

I must have somehow missed out on the special gift-wrapping gene, because I do not seem to have the skill or time to put together a beautiful package. I have good intentions, but I just don’t want to spend a lot of time when it comes to wrapping gifts. And, it’s so expensive trying to buy quality wrapping paper plus all the little extras used for decorating the gift.

I recently tried out some products from lilywrap, and found them to be the perfect solution for my gift-wrapping needs. lilywrap offers an eco-friendly alternative wrapping option. Their products are made of beautiful, stretchy fabrics with the ribbon already built in. You simply place your gift item in the wrap, cinch the ribbons, and tie the bow. Wah-lah! In seconds, you have a lovely package ready to go. The super stretchy fabric allows you to cover even those odd-shaped, hard to wrap items.

lilywrap steps

Not only do I love how easy lilywrap makes gift-wrapping, but I also appreciate the fact that their products are reusable. They literally can be used over and over again. Just think of all the wrapping paper and ribbons that you throw away each year. Through research done while forming their company, lilywrap learned that the average American spends 3 hours wrapping holiday gifts (that’s not even counting birthdays or showers). And, 4 million tons of paper waste are created from all that wrapping. Yikes! I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely in favor of a more green option when it comes to wrapping presents.

The fabrics for these wraps come in several gorgeous colors/patterns and are available in three sizes (small, medium, and large). Visit the lilywrap products page to see more about the color and size options.

Because lilywrap is so simple to use, it’s great for busy moms and dads. It’s also ideal for kids to use on their own — a nice way to let them feel like they can wrap a special gift all by themselves. I’m impressed with the product and highly recommend that you check it out for yourself. You can visit their website or follow up with them on Facebook.

I received product samples to facilitate this review, as well as compensation for my time. I was not obligated to post a positive review. All opinions stated are 100% my own and may differ from others.

I love the green bubbles design!
there was a bookstore that had a personalized gift bag corner. My daughter came home with medium sized bags for each of us with our names and various designs painted on them. Those bags have been used for 4 years now; we even fold the tissue paper and leave that in each bag for reuse

My wife and I were going to a close friend’s birthday a few weeks ago and thought we should try this out. It was the same price as buying another boring bag and tissue paper (we can’t wrap either!). The lilywrap was a bigger hit than our actual gift! If you want your gift to be a little different, lilywrap is a wonderful option and because it’s reusable it is kind of a gift all by itself.
