BUT, you can STILL post your kid inspired tweets with hashtag #plum and @plumkeeper will continue to RT them so everyone can enjoy all the funny things our kids say and do!

Susan and I LOVE Twitter! And we love to twitter about our kids.

You know how you just have to tell someone about the funny thing your child just did. Or you just have to snap that adorable shot of your kids and show it off to your friends? Twitter is the perfect place for all that kid-devoted content.

So 5 Minutes for Mom is joining with Plumkeeper to present:

“Moms Tweet the Darndest Things About Their Kids”

A Contest for Moms Who Tweet

Winner Receives an iPod touch (16GB)

Many moms tweet cute and funny things their kids are saying and doing. As Mother’s Day approaches, we thought it would be fun to round up a collection of these type of tweets by having a contest to select “the darndest tweet” made by a mom about their kid(s).

Entries are closed. VOTING is open now. Click here to see finalists and VOTE.

How to Submit Tweets:

  • Tweet cute and funny things your kids say/do and include “#plum” at the end of a tweet.
  • Tweets will be accepted until 5:00 pm PT on Friday, May 1, 2009.
  • There is no limit to the number of tweets submitted by an individual.
  • All submitted tweets will be re-tweeted daily at www.twitter.com/plumkeeper . “Follow” the Plumkeeper Twitter account to see all of the tweets. Tweets may be edited in order to comply with the 140 character limit.

How to Vote for Your Favorite Tweets:

  • At 5 pm PT on Saturday, May 2, the top 5 tweets will be posted here to be voted on. The top 5 tweets will be selected by Plumkeeper employees. Tweets will be judged based on how cute and funny they are, as well as their authenticity (i.e., don’t make up something unreal!).
  • Votes will be accepted until 5:00 pm PT on Saturday, May 9, 2009.
  • The winning tweet will be the one that receives the most votes.
  • The submitter of the winning tweet will receive an iPod touch (16GB).

Terms of Participation:

  • Plumkeeper has the right not to include any tweet in the contest if its content is deemed as inappropriate.
  • Any tweet submitted to the contest may be re-published in formats that include, but are not limited to, non-Twitter websites, online documents, and printed documents.

See you over on Twitter… (And don’t forget to include the hashtag #plum for contest entries.)

I seriously need to catch up on my blog reading. I didn’t know #plum was a contest and just tweeted some funny conversations with kiddo and added the hashtag! 🙂
