“It’s a Small World”

The strongest memory I have of visiting Disneyland when I was six is from “It’s a Small World.”

It was so fun to relive the memories at Disney World this February with my kids. Both Olivia and Jackson loved it!

Now it’s your turn… add your Wordless Wednesday link below.

I remember It’s a Small World (I grew up in OC, CA-original Disneyland) I can remember where all the little sections were and the countries, etc. Now they have changed the ride and added Disney characters…it’s just not the same anymore!

But, like you, I still have my memories.

Great picture…ours were always so blurry.

I remember waiting for 2 hours in line for this ‘ride’. lol With three little kids, my husband, my parents and sister/hubby in 95 degree full sun. lol. Oh the memories! It’s been 8 yrs since we went there and we still have one particular saying that we use that we took off the walls of that ride…”What the Crap”. I’m not sure if that’s actually how it’s spelled, but you know all those sayings on the walls from different languages? That was one of them! LOL. How funny!

“It’s a Small World” lodges itself into your psyche, never to leave. I think they have drugs in the water or something :). It was my favorite ride as a child, but when I went back to Disney with my kids a few years ago, I was surprised by how juvenile it was! BUT…I kinda liked its kitschiness (even if it was a little scary, lol).

You sound like you had a MARVELOUS time (read your other recap the other day but didn’t have time to comment at that time).
