Style Guide :: Diving into Summer

Summer and I have a love/hate relationship. The sunshine, the cool drinks by the pool, the allergies. Oh the allergies! Sometimes those darn allergies will all but ruin a perfectly summery day.

The best thing for a girl with horribly rotten, no good allergies to do in the summer is shop. Indoor AC, food courts, soft pretzels and iced drinks of the super icy variety abound. Not to mention the perfectly bright and spunky Fabric colors that come along with it all.

My two fave’s right now are red red red with some floral or bandana hints, and a super sunshiny yellow. The kind of yellow that stops you in your tracks and makes you wonder ‘wait, can you do that?’ to which the answer is undoubtedly ‘dude, you totally can!’

Here’s to you Summer and super icy drinks. May your lovely weather stick around exactly as long as needed.

Really like the sunglasses, but would love to see how they fit onto the face, especially on the bridge of the nose.

I wonder if I could pull off one of those fedoras… the bright yellow looks so fun too.

I love the yellow! And I’m ALL about fedoras right now. Sadly, summer still hasn’t hit in Seattle, but I’m not letting my summer outfits go to waste so I’ll rock the bright yellow rain or shine!
