Wordless Wednesday – Trying to get a shot of all of us…

There is a reason we don’t have more shots of Susan and me with all four of our kids.

Now, I have so much more empathy for my parents when they were trying to get family photos of us growing up. There were four of us kids in our family and we all dreaded the annual family photo. (The outtakes are hilarious to look at now though!)

Thanks to Uisce for creating Wordless Wednesday.

We go through the same ordeal every Christmas with our four boys. But that’s okay…they’re not perfect in real life, so why should they be perfect in their pictures? The silly ones are always good for a laugh.

I have SO many of these pictures. I thought it was bad with just 2, but adding a third is utter mayhem. I find it interesting that it’s our middle one who absolutely HATES it when the camera comes out.

There are three times we attempt family photos: Christmas, Easter and at the beach in the summer. These are the only times I’m concerned my children might need therapy ’cause I’m so manic about it (which doesn’t help a bit).

This shot of y’all? STINKIN’ ADORABLE! It’s just “life” bein’ lived, ya know?

So wish Susan was making a stop in Chattanooga on her way to Atlanta; OR that I was still living in Atlanta…I’d show her the town and I’m pretty sure we’d never stop talking blawg stuff!

Susan if you check in, you’ve gotta eat at The Varsity downtown….it’s an institution!
