With this post, Debunking, Defusing, and Demystifying the Big Name Blogger; Mommy or Otherwise. And Delurking You., Megan from Velveteen Mind just convinced me that she is a blogger worth following. Yes, I have been reading her blog recently and have bookmarked her. Yes, from reading even just a few posts, I could tell that she was a great blogger.

But now, I am sure she is not only a great blogger, but, more importantly, a great person and definitely worth following. (I am following her on twitter now too!)

Click over, read it and let it soothe your insecure blogging soul. Cause you know what? She is right.

If your blog readers would like a chance to win a free scrapbook–book they can go to my blog at http://www.marilynbohn.com/blog and go to my post on June 2 for a chance to win a beautiful scrapbook–book donated by my friend from simply101.
It is a video blog and the deadline is this Wednesday June 11. That is the day we will be drawing.

So very true. I’m unable to go this year but if I did, I would look forward to meeting all of you!

hi, Janice. how’s that babymaking going? ha.

you know, I’ve been blogging since forever and I’ve been around the block with this for a long time. the fact is: not all of us can be popular and on alltop.com or have a blog with dozens of comments. it’s just the nature of being in a large group, I think.

that doesn’t mean it’s bad or other bloggers don’t like you. my mother used to say – you can’t be friends with everyone. and it’s true with blogging.
I would consider my blog a success if I had dozens of loyal readers that morph into friendships, rather than hundreds (or thousands) of followers that I feel no connection with at all.

having said all that, if I were at that party, I’d be totally intimidated too. then I would get over it and jump right in. If you are going, have a great time for us that won’t be there.

    Yeah, that’s cool.

And she mentioned Robin from Pensieve, who is one of “ours.” Cool.
