Valentine’s Day is almost here — and we have a quick contest that will have you and your mate relaxing in style…
When Limos.com phoned me, wondering if we had time to squeeze in a giveaway for Valentine’s Day I hesitated — there aren’t many days left!
But, then I pictured one of you with your hubby, being chauffeured around town all night, enjoying each other’s company, and not worrying about parking tickets or designated drivers — because really, both of you should get to enjoy that bottle of wine! I just couldn’t make you miss out on that romantic night!
And I thought in case hiring a car service hadn’t registered in your mind as an option for Valentine’s Day, (I know it hadn’t in mine!) then I thought I should give you this great Valentine Date Night tip: You can hire a car service/limo for an incredibly romantic night out!
If you are thinking I have lost my mind and that renting a limo is hardly what we moms and dads do, well, I haven’t! When I thought about it, a car service is a fabulous option for a date night! It isn’t a stretch-limo like you had at prom. Today’s “limo” is a four-door town car or SUV that’s perfect for two.
You can enjoy a bottle of champagne, provide your driver with a CD of your favorite music, and relax while someone else does all the driving.
Take a scenic drive, or enjoy a night on the town with multiple destinations, whatever you want. It is about being together, with no distractions.
So here it goes — two days to enter!!!
Limos.com, the world’s largest online marketplace for chauffeured transportation, is the “Expedia” of ground transportation.
Using exclusive search technology, Limos.com enables leisure and business travelers to easily compare and book pre-screened car services at specially-negotiated discounts of up to 40% off standard rates.
The prices shown on Limos.com are all-inclusive, even of the driver’s tip, so when your trip is complete there’s nothing to sign or review – everything is taken care of when you book your car online.
Enter to Win
Leave a comment telling us about your Valentine’s Day plans (or lack thereof!) and if you would like to add a limo to your night!
This giveaway is open to US and Canadian shipping addresses and closes on February 11th. This giveaway is void where prohibited. Please see our site’s terms and conditions for our complete contest rules.
Please Note: I did not have time to personally test out Limos.com before publishing this post, although I do plan to review their services in the future.

Wow – our plans are “the lack thereof” this year! We have just been away on a trip without the kids, so I can’t really complain! I guess I’m happy to be home with the kids now and will cherish them this V-Day too!

Don’t have anything really planned right now. Hubby flies home today and dealing with 5 kids I forgot Valentine’s Day is Monday. Opps…
Milcah says
Could we bring the kids along? A family Valentine’s Day adventure??? 🙂
Echo M. says
We don’t really do anything special for Valentine’s Day. We’re a couple of those people that don’t understand why there is ONE day where you’re supposed to do something special for the person you love. So, we’ll probably rent some movies and hang out at home with our little monster. It’s just another day 🙂

I don’t have plans for Valentines day this year but would love to win this prize to give to my sister and her hubby. They have been so helpful this year to me and my 8 year old daughter and it would be great to give them something to thank them.

I am so relieved to read so many comments that say “no plans. We generally stay with kids and watch a fun movie even on weekday nights. Limo ride would sure be fun.

We haven’t made any plans this year. Grandma has been sick and now I’m going through a “Lupus Flare” so we didn’t feel like we had much to celebrate. This would be nice to go surprise Grandma and Grandpa with a night out. They deserve it and after almost 60 years of marriage they need it too.
Nolie says
We have never really got to celebrate Valentines Day before between deployments and other major life events that tied up our money on us. This year is our first time really celebrating. We are going for a couples massage at a really nice spa in town. After that we are going out for dinner to our favorite local restaurant and then we have rented a hotel room for the night. I am so excited and can not wait. Winning this would be the cherry on top of it all.

Don’t have any real plans yet. I just know that I have been married to the love of my live since I was 15 years old and now over 34 years later and 3 kids and 7 grandkids later I am happy with whatever we do as long as we are together. We love to take short rides or long trips on the motorcycle together anytime we can or just going out to eat or pretty much anything we can do together.

Since I do not have a significant other, I usually just treat my family to Valentine’s Day chocolates. But boy, how much fun would it be to cruise around in a limo. I’d love to win this.

My MIL is actually going to be here because we are celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday this weekend! But, she could stay home with our daughter while we took advantage of the limo – or we could use it the next weekend when she is gone, or she could join us – it would be fun! The possibilities are endless 🙂
Jen says
We don’t really have any plans this year, but we just saw a limo the other day and were talking about how fun it would be to get one for a special occasion!
MyBitsandBleeps (Jeannine) says
Our Valentine’s night will be spent with our daughter. Once homework is done, we’ll have a family fun night like games or a movie. The Saturday night (beforeValentine’s) our daughter will be going to a birthday sleep-over party and we’ll be free to go out…trouble is one of us will have to be the D.D.
Barbara Platt says
As of right now we have no plans for Valentine’s Day. Hubby bought me flowers last night
Susan P. says
I recycle cards from past years (I still have some from when we were dating 40 years ago) and sometimes I’ll get roses but we usually don’t do anything special.
Kathleen says
We don’t have any specific plans right now. It is traditional to celebrate adoption day with our 3 adopted daughters but this is the first year they are all grown up and adults.
Jill says
The only Valentine’s Plans we have are for my 3 year old’s preschool party. I would love to have an excuse to do something bigger with my husband.
Rachel says
This year money is tight but we really wanted to do something special for each other anyway. We have worked extra lately just to save up for our special night out and even found a babysitter. A limo would truly be an amazing treat to really make it a special evening. But no matter what we will have an amazing time, for we are the love of each others lives.
Dena says
I’ll be doing Parent Teacher Conferences! Other than that, I haven’t made specific plans because I’m not sure how long they will last.

It is our anniversary…and I will be cooking a special meal at home, but I would luv to win this for my daughter and her boyfriend.
They just got an apartment together in Downtown Chicago and they do not have a car.
They usually use public transportation or their bikes(yes, bikes), but in with the all the Blizzard of 2011’s snow and the freezing weather they are having, what a wonderful gift it would be…….thanks!
Karen says
I haven’t rode in a limo since our wedding day, which was 10 years ago!! Would love the limo to surprise him with…not sure what he has planned yet!
ICStarzz says
Wow, what a cool opportunity! It’s been a really tough couple years so we try to do a little dinner together and maybe watch a movie, but that’s about as far as our expenses take us. I haven’t been in a limo since I was in school! lol

As of right now we just planned on having dinner we just moved last week so our finances are gone due to furniture an miscellanea items for the house. I haven’t had a day out with just me in the hubby in 10 months since my son was born it would be nice to just have a romantic ride in a limo, i’ve never been in one so it would also be a great experience even though the ride would be for me, the hubby and kids it still would be nice. THANK YOU
Stacy says
We don’t really have any plans. I am on bedrest so I can’t really do much, but driving around in a limo sounds wonderful!
Ivy Morrison says
My hubby and I were deciding between a couple interesting places in Houston – we heard of an Art Car museum that even has free entrance! Looked pretty cool!
Christina says
We have a tradition… I make a nice dinner and force the kids into putting some great thought into what they would give each other family member in a coupon form, and I’m not talking backrubs. Then we write our coupons on construction paper for each other and put them in a basket and during diner we pull them out and read them to each other and we have the whole year to use them. They include thing like a daddy-daughter day movie and dinner. Son and dad golfing day! Mom and Dad night at my favorite restaurant. My daughter once gave me a promise to do all her chores with no complaining! My son once gave his sister 3 cooking lessons, things of this sort that take some thinking and little cost on Feb. 14th and are good year round! It’s fun and entertaining for the whole family.

my fiancé has to work that night so we’ll probably celebrate on another night. can the winner use the service on a different night?
Cat Davis says
This is actually the first Valentine’s Day in 9 long years that my husband and I will have alone, at least for about 2 hours. Right now our plans include lunch together.
Allie says
I have no plans for valentines day yet!! But I would love to win limo service even if it was just for a drive around my downtown area.
Sue P says
Finanaces are a little tight right now so we have decided that we would skip any gifts this year for Valentines day (and christmas:().. A limo ride around town would be a great gift and stress release for the both of us.
Kelli says
It’s a surprise! But, I’m sure a limo ride would pleasantly surprise him!
Christina says
Fun, I can’t wait to hear what it is!
Aimee says
I am a stay at home mom to a 3 month old and 22 month old. My husband works 6days a week with about 60 hours a week, sometimes more. I am using Valentines Day as a day full of ways to say “thank you and I love you”. We very rarely get a date night and if we do its just to the movies. We are starting the day by taking a hot air balloon ride (in Orlando) then lunch at our favorite restaurant. I wanted to plan something at night, but have no clue what! It would be awesome to win the limo ride! Something different and a great way to enjoy each others company!
Erica Rivera says
As of right now we are short on cash and really didn’t have anything planned for Vday but a limo would be awesome to ride around town in. We had planned just to get our little girl something for vday and make her happy.
Suzanne (CrunchyGreenMom) says
I had planned on doing Valentine’s Day on the 18th with dinner and a romantic drive to Genessee outside of Denver. What a great chance to do it while holding BOTH hands.

No plans for the actual day. But we will be going to the Weekend to Remember marriage conference the weekend after. I am super excited. A date night driven around would not be half bad.
Cheryl Reina says
I would love this, my hubby and I have 5 kids, our youngest is 10 1/2 months and the oldest is 11 years old. Needless to say it’s difficult to get out. even for Valentine’s Day. I was hoping to go to a nice dinner and maybe a movie. If we won the limo, it would definitely open up the possibility to go into town and do some other things, since we would not need to worry about the parking costs and driving.
Deanna says
We haven’t even discussed Valentine’s Day. I already bought my husband a romantic gift. A customized message in a bottle! But as far as any plans, I have no clue. We have 5 kids and we used to make it a priority to go on weekly dates but lately life has been so hectic we haven’t been out. Would love a romantic limo ride!
Amanda Adkins says
Hubby and I plan to get a couples message, dinner, movie, then revisit our wedding night suite. This is our first Valentines day married, he purposed to me on Valentines day 🙂 I can’t enjoy any wine or champagne, as I’m pregnant as well, but whether we win this or not we are going to make this one a Valentines to remember 🙂
Julie Adams says
The last time my husband and I went out for Valentine’s Day was in 1999. SInce then, we have stayed home with our kids and celebrated with cookies from a local bakery and that would be our plans for this year as well. =) I would love to surprise my husband with a limo ride as he is working a full-time job, part-time job and removes snow as needed (needless to say, he has been busy). I would love to be able to give him a much needed break (although I would love for our kids to possibly be able to enjoy it as well, they have never been in a limo!).
Shari says
I would love to win so I could give this to my brother and sister-in-law! Valentine’s Day is their first born’s fourth birthday and the whole family could take a limo ride to celebrate. 🙂
Casey says
While I would love this for me and my hubby, if I won, I would give the opportunity to one of my shipmates. He just returned from a year deployment to Iraq. He and his wife could definitely use some fun one on one time. Thanks!
S Club Mama says
We have zero plans that I’m aware of but I think I’ll make a special dinner for my husband and kids with a super yummy dessert of some kind. 🙂 A limo would be so much fun, even if it were just for a cruise around town!
Anne says
Right now we are planning a romantic night in, but a limo would be fun, and we would go out for a nice dinner.
Webly says
We don’t really celebrate valentine’s day because we think it should be year-round and not just a day. But I won’t mind someone else driving us around on that day. We may go to for a nice dinner with a live oldies band.
