It took me by surprise. I didn’t think there was room in my life for a new love. When old favorites retired, I felt relieved. I needed more time for myself. The last thing I needed was a new commitment.
Then Susan introduced me to Grey’s Anatomy.
It was fall and I was lonely I guess… I fell hard. Now the week just seems to be so long as I wait for Sunday night. (Don’t even get me started about repeats. It is too painful to discuss. I am already starting to fear the summer hiatus. I don’t do well with such long absences.)
I don’t know what is going on in your life right now. But I am pretty certain that if you haven’t already discovered this brilliant TV show, you need to set your Tivo or VCR RIGHT NOW for Sunday at 10pm on ABC. It is just one of those things you must do for yourself.
Note: I am not sure what the legal consequences are for falling in love with a patient Izzie, but you go girl. You just go! Oh my heart is all a flutter just thinking about it…ah… young, sweet, complicated love…
And to keep you going between episodes check out the TV show’s official site at http://abc.go.com/primetime/greysanatomy/.
The site is packed with great stuff like blogs http://abc.go.com/primetime/greysanatomy/blogs.html and podcasts http://abc.go.com/primetime/greysanatomy/podcasts/104875.html.
Make sure you read the writer’s blog http://www.greyswriters.com/. What an incredible opportunity to hear directly from the writers and the creator of the show.
Perhaps the best part of the site and the blogs – you will be in the company of others who are also crazy for television’s best show.

Oh man, I’m so addicted to this show also. I don’t know if its the fairy tale of the passion between Mr Dreamy and Merideth but I’m hooked.

T.V. sitcoms are known for keeping everyone on the edge of their seat. I have never seen Grey’s Anatomy, but I can totally understand how you could have withdrawal symptoms from a T.V. Sitcom… I’ve been there, done that, and got the “teeth” shirt (smile)
