How’s Your Party Hopping Going?

Wow… the momosphere is sure rockin’ with Ultimate Blog Parties! Look at the size of that Mr. Linky… it’s at 1470 at the moment.

So have you met tons of new bloggers? Are you getting a little overstimulated… are you starting to look a little like Olivia after a bit too much blog partying?

ubp-olivia-crying.jpg

Well don’t panic. The Ultimate Blog Party 2008 Mr. Linky list isn’t going anywhere so you can keep visiting new bloggers for as long as you like.

We’ll keep the link at the top of our site for the next few weeks, and the post will permanently exist at http://www.5minutesformom.com/3055/ubp-08-party-post/

We just wish we’d been out mingling more… but we’ve been stuck in the kitchen! Don’t you just hate it when you throw a fabulous, rockin’ party and you can’t get out to mingle with your guests because you’re stuck in the kitchen.

Well Janice and I are those party hosts that never seem to show their faces… and we’re very frustrated about it.

We are so swamped with emails and behind the scenes stuff that we’ve hardly made it to any of your party posts yet. (By the way, if you’ve emailed us and we haven’t replied… please accept our apologies, we’re trying to keep up…)

But we’ll keep trying to pop in to visit as many of you as we can.

The Prizes Are Coming…

Okay, so the official party is starting to wind down and Pamela is working away drawing winners and assigning prizes.

We had originally planned on drawing the prizes today and then announcing all the winners in one post on Monday. But we realized that it would be much easier for Pamela to send off emails to winners as she worked through drawing names. (We had planned on just letting the prize donors contact the winners through their blogs, but this will should things easier on everyone.)

So keep an eye on your email (including your junk mail as these things tend to get caught there).

Once Pamela has drawn all the winners, we will publish the full list of prize winners. We won’t bother waiting until Monday, since folks will be gradually finding out over the next few hours. We’ll just go ahead and publish a post about it as soon as we have the final list ready.

Remember to Introduce Some of Your New Friends

Sometime next week, publish a post introducing a handful of the cool new blogs you visited. It’s hard to pick just a few… but try to spread a little link love to some of your new favorites.

To get you started, check out the After Party we threw last year.

For now, keep on partying… and good luck in the prize draw…

Thoughts on Olivia: “Aww, and she still looks so precious all tuckered out” 😀

Thanks Susan and Janice for hosting another fantabulous blog party! I’m unsure as to the count yet, but it’s been a steady stream at my own blog from here. And, I’ve more insight of some more cool blogs in this world wide web. *hands each of you a big pillow for you to rest and a cool drink for after you get out of that kitchen. ;)*

Look at the picture! Perfectly describes how overwhelmed I feel about the length of that UBP list! 🙂

I did make some blogroll additions, thanks again for hosting this. For my post party blog entry you could click here.

I can’t believe how many people joined the party–what a list! 1493. And most of them are stay-at-home mommies…that’s pretty great. 🙂

I have really enjoyed the party, and have already met so many lovely bloggers. Hope to make my way through some more link. I calculated if I visit 4 links a day I will be finished just before next years party!

If I have not made it to your blog – sorry.

It’s been great! I’ve met some wonderful mom bloggers that I didn’t even knew existed, that’ the best part so far. Then, getting to know them and their family and seeing if these new relationships can blossom in to something.

    Thanks for the party!!!

I wasn’t around for last year’s party, but I’ve enjoyed this one, met a few new bloggers I enjoy, and had fun ‘entertaining’ … so thanks for the idea and the work you’ve done to make it all happen. I’m glad the link will remain active because I haven’t had time to visit as many party posts and I’d like to.

Whoo! It’s been a crazy party! I have NEVER had this many visitors in one week — not even at last year’s party.

I just hope everybody keeps visiting the blogs they really liked, and doesn’t let all those new friendships whither away once the party is over.

I’ll say it again, you girls ROCK! 🙂 You all did such a great job of pulling this off again this year.

I’m excited to see who won the earrings from me!

I’ve already met so many fabulous bloggers and I have about 1300 or so more to meet. Haha!
