With a Christmas tree and some Hollywood “snow” on the red carpet, 
last night the holiday season kicked off in West Hollywood with the World Premiere of The Nutcracker in 3D.
A handful of us mom bloggers were lucky enough to be lined up with the photographers, ready to catch the action with our cameras and interview the stars and the director of the film.
The Nutcracker in 3D, directed by Andrei Konchalovsky, stars the angelic Elle Fanning as nine-year-old Mary in the story that inspired acclaimed Russian composer Piotr Tchaikovsky to create the music for the iconic ballet. The film also includes eight new songs written by Oscar-winning lyricist and librettist Sir Tim Rice (The Lion King, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar) based on Tchaikovsky’s famous pieces.
While we can’t share with you our reviews of the film yet, all reviews of The Nutcracker in 3D are being held until the release date, November 27th, I can share with you my photos from the red carpet and our interview with Elle Fanning.
The celebrities were not the only ones having fun! We mom bloggers were having a blast!
Here I am with Caryn from Rockin Mama — and her son joined us for a few moments too.
Elle is an unbelievably talented and beautiful girl. She was sweet and sincerely thrilled to be soaking up the adoration and attention.
It was a fantastic red carpet evening. And even though I was interviewing celebrities, the highlight of the night for me was spending time with fellow mom bloggers and their families: Rockin Mama, Savvy Sassy Moms, Hollywood Mom, Seven Clown Circus, Cafe Mom, Happy Hour Mom, and Fresh Angeles.
