Baby, it’s cold outside. The crisp fall weather is bringing with it some snow this week. I am not quite ready for snow and ice. Thankfully I can keep warm on cold mornings by bundling up near my fireplace with a cup of coffee in hand.

I am the only coffee drinker in the house. So for me, the Keurig® Single-Cup Brewer is perfect. I am delighted that Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are an option for my Keurig.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

I was sent a sampling of the Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs to review and I am in love with the Millstone Breakfast Blend and Millstone Hazelnut Cream. I now start my mornings with one of those delicious varieties. I am also planning on purchasing the Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti because it sounds simply wonderful.

Would you like to start out your morning with a fresh gourmet cup of coffee? Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available nationwide in 12 and 18 count packs (MSRP $6.99-$9.99), online in a 24 count pack (MSRP $13.95), and at club stores in an 80 count pack (MSRP $33.99).

They are made especially for the Keurig Single-Cup brewing system, which allows you to enjoy one perfectly brewed cup of coffee one at a time.

Guess what? We want to warm up your cold winter mornings. We have one Keurig Single-Cup brewing system, retail value $139.00 and a sampling of Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs to give away to one lucky reader. To enter, leave a comment below. I would like to know how a fresh gourmet cup of coffee helps you to get your morning started.

This giveaway is part of our Christmas Giveaway 2010 event. If you haven’t already, please be sure to visit our main Christmas Giveaway 2010 post to review our giveaway rules and find out how you can earn additional entries.

This giveaway is open to both US and Canadian shipping addresses, is void where prohibited and closes on December 4th.

Please see our site’s Terms and Conditions for more information.

Not only were we provided with a Keurig Single-Cup brewing system and a sampling of Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs to giveaway, but we were also sent the same items for review purposes.

I’m a tea drinker, but the hubby is a major coffee addict. I don’t even want to talk to him before he gets his caffeine jolt. He’d love this for sure!

A great cup of coffee in the morning gets me started by awakening all my senses – the taste of course, but also the great aroma, the feel of the warm cup in my hands, the steam that fogs up my glasses (LMAO) and the sound because well… in private, I’m a slurper 🙂

I am most definately NOT a morning person, never have been. And after working a few yrs on the night shift, I’m even MORE of an ‘Owl’ if that’s possible! Now that I’m having to function in the day-time, I NEED something to give a kick-start to my day – and this would be just the thing! I REALLY want one of these marvelous machines….it might even make me over into a morning person?!?!?! ((1955nursehjc4me(at)myway(dot)com))

I ALWAYS need a cup of coffee to get my morning started but I find it so hard for some unknown reason to brew the perfect cup myself and constantly find myself traveling to the nearest Starbucks to help me out! This system sure looks like it would save me a lot of trips (and a lot of money!!!)

I don’t drink coffee and make the worst cup of coffee ever but my poor DH can’t start his day without at least one cup. He makes his own but between you and me his is only a tad bit better than mine. He has suffered with this coffee dilemma for over 32 yrs and my days would start so MUCH better if I knew he was finally having that perfect cup he deserves for being the best DH in the world.

I can’t start my day without a cup of coffee in the morning, but I’m usually the only one who drinks it. I grab my cup and run out the door and many times I return from work and the coffee pot is still full, because no one else had any. This way, my husband and daughter can make their own coffee if they want a cup and no coffee will go to waste. Awesome!

Coffee – there are actually some mornings when I don’t think I’d make it through the day with out a warm cup o joe sitting next to me. Alas I am the only one who drinks it in my house, so there are almost always leftovers (which I usually share with my roses outside lol) A one cup brewer would be awesome to try, especially with all those flavors -yummer!

While I am not personally a coffee-drinker, my husband certainly is and he’s had his eye on this coffeemaker for quite awhile. Since he is the only coffee drinker, he really wants a single-serving maker so he isn’t wasting his precious coffee. This would be perfect!

AAAHHH, coffee! A cup every morning, preferably before the kids wake up! That’s our aim! ;o) On cold days it warms me up and gives me more energy. And since my kids tend to wake up in the night, I need all the “awaking” I can get! ;o)

I am not able to drink coffee but I have to say that the smell of my husband’s coffee makes me feel warm and cozy in the mornings and just HAPPY! Coffee is just such a big part of him and his morning that when I wake up and get to see his handsome face across the table with his cup of coffee just really makes me feel lucky. For such a hard working guy, a simple pleasure like a good hazelnut coffee with lots of cream and sugar is very little to reward him really. Sure love to gift him one of these some day so he can have a fresh cup when he wants. He reheats the next day usually.

    thankyou!

I would be so happy to be able to give this to my mom for Christmas! A stay at home mom of 6 children and a grandchild, who has been through many struggles in life but always there to take care of every one of us kids – this would give her just a little hand making through each day.

I haven’t had a coffee maker in years, I normally treat myself to it when I’m out and about. But it would be wonderful to be able to have it more frequently at home, in the morning. Since I don’t drink much a single serving method would be a great way for me to make it.

6 days a week i am up at 6 am getting my kids ready for school and out the door. I often dont get to sit and rest until about 3 in the afternoon, so coffee is my get up and go medicine. It is the first thing in my hand in the morning and sometimes the last thing in my hand at night. I am also the only coffee drinker in my house so single cup is AWESOME!

i would give this to my mom for christmas. their coffeepot won’t make over 8 cups or it leaks everywhere. there’s always the family coming and going with different schedules (mom 1st shift, sister 2nd shift, dad 3rd overnight shift), and so to have a one cup brew option would not only personalize everyone’s cup, but it’d be fresh when they want it. i think that’s the most ideal coffee pot!! i tend to go downstairs to have a tiny cup in the morning with my mom. coffee is the only thing that will keep my migraines away. as a single mum of 3 (twins plus 1), i can’t afford to be getting migraines!!! <3

    My Coffee Experience

Oh coffee, it tastes so sweet
I feel the intesity in my own heartbeat.
I reach for my cup to pour up such a treat
stirring up splender and a relaxing seat.
    Coffee is blissful and refreshing
definately makes me bright and awakening
as the sun shines each morning
I find that coffee is adorning.
Coffee helps me smile from ear to ear
the taste to me is fantastic and clear.
Make me a fresh cup and pour in the sugar and cream
For I am in heaven because this coffee is quite a dream.
    by: me (Pattie W.)

I am a huge fan of folgers coffee and to enter into this contest is awesome. I hope that whomever might win will be as blissful as I feel with I pour my first cup of coffee in the morning (the poem). Thank you for having such a wonderful site. I have liked you on Facebook and am trying to spread the word of your absolute graciousness for the families that are in need this holiday season. Many are struggling and many are too egotistic to ask for that extra given help, for you that are reaching out to open your hearts so that others may be given the blessing is a wonderful gesture. I know I am a single mother and I would love to give to others but I too am making ends meet with my children. May God continue to bless this organization and the individuals that are big hearted such as I to give back to the blessed citizens of our wonderful country. God Speed to our soldiers both near and far!!! Seasons Greetings!!!

I get my morning started with a fresh cup of coffee every morning before my morning workouts. My fiance does as well. He’s been pulling in a lot of overtime, going in early a lot so I know winning this would really help him out. We’re also on a very tight budget saving for our upcoming April wedding, and buying our first home soon. I’d love to be able to give this to him as a gift! He’d be so surprised! 🙂

    Thanks for the opportunity!

I don’t function well without my coffee, but since I’m the only coffee drinker in my house it feels like a chore somedays to get the regular pot up and brewing. This would be great as I can have as many cups as I want without feeling guilty for throwing the extra down the sink (like I do know when I make more than I drink).

I love the smell of coffee, especially flavored ones. I don’t love the cold. Wrapping my hands around a hot cup of coffee while inhaling the aroma would be enough to warm me up and be a great start to the day. That said, I actually seldom drink coffee but my mom does. She always has a cup every morning to kick start her day.

I want this to gift to a friend of mine that has two little boys. She really needs her cup of coffee in the morning to get her going and you know little boys, they are going as soon as they wake up! This would help her so much…it would be so quick and take so little effort for her to get that coffee as she is getting the little one ready for kindergarten and her drive to take him there and then the 7 year old to a different place for his school.

It’s a little funny how quickly I came to look forward to my morning cup of coffee, since I’ve only been drinking it for about three years – since my daughter started school and my mornings started earlier. Now, it’s one of my favorite parts of waking up – cup of coffee, quiet devotional time, and I’m set to start the day.

Then when they are done and ready to play for a while I can sit and eat my breakfast in peace- a perfect time to do my devotions. 🙂 But since I only need one cup it does not often happen! This would be the perfect gift for me and my hubby. I love to warm up with a cozy cup of coffee or tea in the morning, and my husband enjoys spiced chai tea. This would be a budget-friendly way to have a special treat each day.

Being in a combined family household of 4 adults and 4 children, We all drink different things. My mother likes her coffee (creamer and sugar) in the morning. My husband likes flavored coffee with lots of milk, I drink tea and my father likes his hot chocolate. A keurig would get a lot of use here instead of having a coffee pot, a tea pot and a kettle on the stove.

Coffee is my life blood! You don’t want a morning where this mommy doesn’t have her coffee! I’ve been known to make midnight runs to the grocery store just so I have my coffee in the morning! I would love to have one of these one-cup makers! Especially when I just need one cup!

We would LOVE to have this coffee maker!! My husband & I usually have different ‘likes’ when it comes to coffee (flavors, roast, strength, pretty much everything), but we both agree on this coffee maker. Since it just brews one perfect cup at a time & offers all kinds of variety it is the PERFECT thing for us!!!

I’d love to win a Keirig for my husband…. He is also the only coffee drinker in our house, so the ability to brew one delicious cup at a time would be awesome! We just agreed to not get each other Christmas gifts this year since he’s just been laid off, but it would be fantastic if this were waiting under the tree for him as a surprise!

Coffee is the one guilty pleasure that I truely enjoy. It “wakes” me up in the morning and the smell of brewing coffee takes me back to childhood memories of my grandparents. That is a wonderful feeling to start out the day. A little creamer and some Splenda, and I’m good to go! The Keurig coffee maker is on my Christmas list this year, I think I’ve been good! I would love a keurig! I love the large selection of drinks they provide. When I brew coffee in the morning I find myself more productive that day. When I’m too crazy getting my son off to school to take the time to brew coffee I almost always stop for a cup on the road and I would love to not spend that money anymore!

Ha. Gourmet coffee is when I have time to put half-and-half in my Folgers. On very special occasions (like Thanksgiving and Christmas, maybe my birthday), I put flavored creamer in it.
