Susan’s Turn To Give Birth

The Second Round

Two weeks ago I “tackled” labor and delivery. This week it was Susan’s turn as she gave birth to her daughter, Sophia Vanna.

Susan did an excellent job delivering and Sophia safely arrived on Friday afternoon. I couldn’t believe how quickly and efficiently Susan pushed her out! I must say – it is a lot easier being one of the “coaches” than being the birthing mother! (Susan and I were so relieved to have our babies far enough apart so that we were both able to be at each other’s births.)

If you missed Sophia’s birth pictures, you can click here to see that post.

Here are some more pictures of Sophia’s first day.

Janice, your family has me sitting here in tears. I’m so deeply happy for what you all have. Oh how I wish I had this with my family, but since I don’t I’m so deeply touched to see somebody does. Your family is beautiful and what a blessing that your kids have each other!
