I mentioned yesterday that my clever little four-year-old, inspired by Tackle It Tuesday, came up with his own idea – Washy Wednesday.
Apparently he caught on to the alliteration craze we bloggers have. What is Washy Wednesday? According to its creator Jackson it is anything to do with getting wet and having fun: water parks, waterslides, sprinklers etc. So today he indulged in Washy Wednesday. Darting through the sprinkler he cried out, “It’s Washy Wednesday!†“Wait – it is Tuesday,†you say. Well Jackson must somehow be aware that we live on the pacific coast and need our entries prepared and posted before we go to bed so you eastern folks have it to enjoy with your morning coffee. |

Rock on, young man!! I love the idea! Maybe on Wednesdays throughout the summer, we can all post our ways to beat the heat with H2O. Smart man!!!! (Better yet, let’s just post our kids enjoying water. No sense in me scaring away readers by donning a swimsuit!)
