Before we had reached for our coffee or hung up our bathrobes, Joan Lunden‘s infectious energy beamed into our homes for nearly two decades on Good Morning America.
The longest running host ever on morning television, Joan entertained, informed and inspired millions of viewers. She took us along as she interviewed presidents and moviestars, rappelled glaciers, bungee-jumped and danced with Vegas showgirls. Her work took her to the most exotic locales, visiting the homes and palaces of kings, queens and superstars.
But through it all, Joan Lunden was first a mother. We watched in awe as she expanded her family without missing a step — Joan has seven children, including two sets of twins.
Now, Joan is bringing her love of home decorating and her experiences traveling the world into a new luxurious, but affordable, bedding line, Joan Lunden Home.
Launching on QVC Wednesday, May 12 at 11 AM (ET), shoppers will be able to buy four distinct designs inpsired by her favorite destinations – New York, Stockholm, Kenya and Paris. The collections include comforters, coverlets, sheets, throws, and decorative pillows, all priced between $44 and $155.
I had a chance to interview Joan Lunden for a podcast today. She shared about her three older girls and her two sets of twins, her experiences traveling the world and how she was inspired to create her new line, Joan Lunden Home.

I didn’t know that she had seven children! That’s wonderful.
She also has an infectious smile and warm eyes. I’d love to meet her someday!
