How precious! My oldest prayed for months and months at age 2 for a baby brother/sister. She got her prayer answered — not at the same time, but God granted her request. Out of the mouths of babes, I say.

When my three boys were 7,10 and 13 we were blessed with a daughter. After her birth my boys threatened to go to the altar to pray for another!

My oldest son absolutely insists he needs another sibling, wants a daughter this time. NOT happening. I told him, and he will repeat this if asked, that I am not having another child (seven pregnancies, one ectopic, three boys, two deaf with CIs). And that if he wants a little girl he needs to grow up, do well in school, go to college, get a good job, find a nice girl to marry and have babies of his own. Not that life turns out that way, but I’m trying to plant some seeds early. 😉

Oh man, that just tugs at your heart doesn’t it??
Mine were fighting the other day and I went to find out what the problem was, and apparently the fight was that Jasmine wants a baby girl to play with and Nicholas says no, he wants a baby brother.
Yeah, go talk to daddy on that one LOL
