Trying To Get Caught Up…

Well today I didn’t get any house tackling or even much work tackling done — I have been on kid duty all day.

Susan had to go back to the hospital today (the doctor had sent her to the ER last Thursday as well for cramping, backache and blood in her urine.) After a weekend of antibiotics for what the doctors thought might be a UTI, she wasn’t any better.

Today her doctor said the test was negative for an infection and sent her back to the hospital. She just got home now (at 10pm) and apparently the urologist said her kidney is swollen and they think she might have a kidney stone. (Personally I think being pregnant AND having to pass a kidney stone just is not fair — the poor thing!) I just hope that everything goes ok and none of this causes pre-term labor. Susan is only 23 weeks. (Up until this, Susan has been having a great pregnancy. Hopefully this will be just a small bump in the road.)

So now it is 10:30 pm and I must start tackling the next July 4th Giveaway post. I will be posting it shortly after Tackle It Tuesday and it is very exciting – the prize is valued at over $1000!!! So if you haven’t already seen it, make sure you check it out.

Hope your tackles are going well – and that none of them involved the hospital.

(Speaking of the hospital — dear little Parker has been in the hospital all weekend. Parker’s life is not an easy one — so much pain and suffering for one tiny little body. Hop on over and give them some much needed encouragement and {{{hugs}}}.)

And make sure you link up and show off what you are tackling this week…

Join Us For Tackle It Tuesday

We’re making housework blog-able!

Each week on Tuesday, we are posting before and after pictures of a project or trouble area that we tackled this week.

Find out more about Tackle It Tuesday here.

The project can be little or big – whatever you want. Basically, Tackle It Tuesday is about giving ourselves incentive, deadlines and satisfaction in getting our household tasks done.

I do enjoy Tackle it Tuesdays. Thanks for hosting. I just have to remember NOT to save all my tasks for Tuesdays! 🙂

Hope and pray that Susan gets better. I have a friend that had kidney stones during her 3rd pregnancy. It was very painful, but now years later, she barely remembers the pain. (I’m sure it’s God’s grace!)

This is my first time doing “Tackle it Tuesday.”
I’m glad I did-this was very motivating. I tackled my pantry-but not the whole thing. Baby steps for me today. Holly
