When you hit send you expect that your message will get there. You count on it.
But tonight I realized that when it comes to my email accounts, apparently some crazy Bermuda Triangle is going on. I hit send. It shows the email as sent and I assume all is well.
And most of the time it is working fine. I get replies and all looks fine.
But tonight I realized that all may not be fine.
I was having problems with some emails going missing when I emailed to Jennifer, but I thought it was isolated – a problem between her email account and mine. But tonight I realized an email I sent to my mom didn’t arrive. So we started testing and to all three of her accounts, my emails won’t go through. They aren’t stuck in junk mail. They are just missing.
This is quite concerning. I think most of my emails are going through fine – but apparently some are just disappearing, never to be found again.
It may be an issue on my side – or it might be on the recipients end. But whatever it is – I can’t have any confidence right now that all of my emails are arriving at their destination.
I will be contacting our host provider to try and determine what is going on. But for now I can only hope that everything I send arrives.
If you are missing emails or replies from Susan or me, feel free to check back and see if I sent you a reply that just didn’t make it through.

It is frustrating and the exact same thing happens to me. I run an at home business to and this is not good for business! :(.
Storm says
Too frustrating. Sorry you have to deal with that.

How frustrating and annoying. As if you don’t have enough to do.
Susanne says
Bizarre. Now I’m thinking about mine!
Jennifer, Snapshot says
Yeah, I’ve been doing that as well–doubling checking now! ARGH!

That happens to my email account all of the time. I also have certain people that I can’t email and can’t receive emails from.
Jana (sidetrack'd) says
That is so frustrating! I had it happen to me a while back with e-mails I sent to my husbands account (same provider, host, server, etc). Here’s hoping you can get it fixed with relative ease and as little time as possible on the phone with tech support!
