Barefoot in January


For some reason, Olivia decided to take off her boots the other day, despite the January cold. Of course I let her — just for a few moments — because how can a mom resist taking photos of her baby’s sweet, little toes.

    Cute piggies! My son HATES to wear socks. We bought him so bootie slippers at Old Navy last week. He hasn’t quiiiite figured out how to take them off yet…unlike his pants.

    I love the details on this shot. Somehow the colors just made me feel the temperature. I could tell it was cold from the vivid pink of her toes and the vibrant shades of gray of the rocks. Great shot!

    Love how I am not the only one that would grab a camera in that situation 😉 My son kept taking his boots and socks off in the car last year. He must have figured out it was too cold and stopped doing it this winter.
