Are you looking for an easy Halloween craft for kids? A friend of ours made these fun Paper Plate Halloween Stick Puppets for us to share with you. Your kids will love making these paper plate Halloween crafts that they can play with and then use as Halloween decorations.
Supplies for these paper plate Halloween crafts:
- 10 paper plates
- 5 craft sticks
- Paint / Markers/ Crayons
- Glue stick (We use Elmer’s Craft Extra Strength)
- Construction paper
Halloween Stick Puppet Instructions
Each stick puppet uses two paper plates for stability. Place craft stick between the two plates and glue together. I tried this with Elmer’s School Glue and it worked but the Craft Glue Stick works much better!) Let dry before continuing.
FRANKENSTEIN
Paint top plate green. Add hair and bolts. Draw facial features. Add some scars for fun!
MUMMY
Tear strips of construction paper to wrap the mummy. We used pink to make this a girl mummy. Draw or paint eyes and attach bow.
WITCH
Paint plate green. Make hair from strips of construction paper folded accordion style. Glue hair and hat to top plate. Add nose (fold nose in half to make dimensional). Finish by adding facial features.
PUMPKIN
Paint top plate orange. Add face and glue on stem.
VAMPIRE
Paint plate a greyish color. Add hair and ears. Add facial features.
