Post? Who has time to post?!?

So how many parties did you hit this weekend?

I must say, I am way behind where I need to be if I want to make it through the entire list by Friday! I have only visited just over a hundred parties so far. This darn nausea is really slowing me down!

It is amazing how debilitating nausea can be. It really makes sitting up, staring at a computer screen for hours difficult. Not that I mean to complain. I am grateful to still be sick – hopefully that means my baby is still okay in there. (I have two more weeks till my next ultrasound – oh the agony of waiting!)

But while I count my blessings, I still live with the reality that I can not get as much done as I want to. So if you are wondering why the hostesses haven’t made it to your corner of the room yet, they are trying.

One of us will get to your place eventually – I promise! It will most likely be me – since Susan not only has a toddler and her nausea to deal with, but she is up to her eyeballs in emails and other urgent matters. (Yes, being in our first trimesters at the same time is a little inconvenient! But one day it will all be worth it – right?)

I hope your weekend was a blast and that you continue partying all week long! (Are you keeping track of your new favorites to post about next week?)

Thank you so much for making the Ultimate Blog Party such a success!

See you soon!

Did something happen to change the numbers? I have been keeping a list of the blogs that I’ve visited by number with a short description so that I can remember, and as I’ve gone back to check a few tonight, I’ve found that they’re off by one number. I don’t know if I messed up from the beginning, or if one of the numbers has been removed. I feel like I’m going crazy!!!! I’ve read 100+ blogs already, and I feel like I’ve hardly made a dent! I don’t know how much more I can take!

I figured it out….as of 3:17 am on March 6, there are 760 blogs added to Mr. Linky. If you took 5 minutes to read/comment on each blog, it will take you approximately 63.333 hours to do so!

    Marathon blogging, anyone?
    Party on!

So sorry to hear about the nausea. You’re right though, the symptoms are probably a good sign.

My younger sister and I had daughters 6 1/2 weeks apart. Now our girls are toddling around together. It was so nice to have someone to go through pregnancy with, and that someone being a sister is extra special.

    Enjoying the blog party! Thanks!

So I’m wondering… any chance of extending this party week to a party month? No way am I making it to all of these blogs – unless I don’t sleep… or eat… or bathe.
Thanks for all the hard work, and congratulations on the big baby news to you both!

I don’t think anyone in the world expects you to zip right through 710 parties, Janice. LOL At the rate I’m going, it would take months!

On the twin pregnancy note. My twin sis and I were both expecting at the same time with our last babies. Our due dates were 3 days apart but we ended up having them 3 weeks apart. Now four years later her little Sarah and my Joshua have an extra special connection. It was a blast being pregnant together minus the fact that neither of us could travel the 9 hours to be with each other when we had the babies.
Here’s our pic of us during that fun time. http://jamileigh.com/blog/2005/11/16/old-pictures/

I’m amazed at how big this party has gotten!! I’m glad it’s lasting for week so there is more time to get around to everyone. I think I’ve visited 70 0r 80 so far. I’ve visited everyone who visited me, plus I am working my way down the list on your party post. And I still need to look through the prizes!

Thanks again for doing this. I’ve so enjoyed the comments from visitors plus meeting some new folks.

Oh, and during one pregnancy, mixing some ginger ale with my juice in the morning helped.

Are you doing a Tackle-It-Tuesday this week or are we all tackling the party visiting? 🙂

Janice, I think you and Susan are brilliant. But I might have to shoot you!! 🙂 This was a busy weekend for us (company over Friday to celebrate my husband’s birthday, games for my boys on Saturday, and then more company last night). VERY little time to read, write or PARTY! I didn’t begin my visits until last night after 10! I sooo admire you if you make it through the list, I can’t imagine getting through the entire thing even if the party lasted a MONTH!

But, thank you, I know for especially brand new bloggers, this has got to be a THRILL!

oh – I’m having a hard enough time visiting wiht everyone who stopped by my party, I haven’t had much time to visit those on the list!

You certainly have your “cleaning up” cut out for you when the party’s over!

Yikes! Looks like I’m a little late for the partay! You have over 6oo attendees already. Can’t wait to see how long the list is on Friday. Thanks so much for hosting… a dynamite idea, needless to say.

Hope you get that nausea under control. One of my friends swore by soda crackers. Hugs. :~)
