Interview with Amanda from “Amanda… A Stay at Home Mom’s Point of View”
“Amanda… A Stay at Home Mom’s Point of View”

I blog because it is a way to express how I am feeling.
I started my blog back in 2004 after having an early miscarriage, my blog was a way for me to get out my frustrations and heartache and it also helped me deal with my loss. After I became pregnant with my second baby (Sarah) my blog then became my way of updating and sharing about my pregnancy.
I now blog to make friends and I still share about my life in my little corner of the world.

I started back in September of 2004, but really started updating last April (2007)

I normally blog about my children and also I share about my favorite products. I also host many giveaways!

Besides 5M4M?
Kristin at An Ordinary Life
Tanya at Mommy Goggles
Christine at From Dates to Diapers
and many many more, I love all of the Mom Bloggers!

The MOSST IMPORTANT advice I can give is be nice and make friends. We are here to support each other! Not to put people down. If you can’t be nice then seriously stay away from the blogosphere, we don’t need your drama.

Yes I do. I love making new friends and I try to always reply to comments I get. It’s important to let people know that you acknowledge their comments.

I do have a lot of friends who read my blog, and many have started blogs of their own! I’m not too sure how many family members read my blog. They all know about it that’s for sure.

No I don’t. I do have a few that I belong to, but they are small personal forums. With girls who I have known for YEARS.

I blog all the time, during the day, early morning or late at night. Whenever I feel I need to blog. I blog on my computer at home.

Seriously? Way too much time! But I really enjoy it.

Yes I do use technorati, but I mostly stick with mom bloggers and their blog rolls.

I first heard about blogging from a group of girls, we called ourselves “saddles” because we had all experienced a miscarriage and we were back in the saddles to try for another baby.

The very first blogs I read was back in 2004, all of the girls from “Saddles” had blogs, and I wish I still had that blog. I deleted it a few years ago because I didn’t think I’d blog anymore. None of those girls have their blogs anymore either. But when I started blogging again the very first one I read was Kara’s http://www.ramblingmom.com but at the time she was Nuttier Than You.
The second site I read was 5 Minutes For Mom. Kara told me about 5M4M and I was hooked from the start.

God, my children and my family!

yes I do. I own my own little boutique http://www.simplysweetbowtique.etsy.com
Also, Four of us mom bloggers (From Dates to Diapers, Parent’s With Style and A Ordinary Life) came together and created http://www.themommiesunited.com. We love Mommies United and enjoy blogging together. These women are amazing.

I have become such a better writer and have made some amazing friends!
I do have to say that I have found some blogs that have really inspired me to be a better person and not take each day for granted. To enjoy my life and my children because I never know if it could be my last day with them.
