My Life

I started blogging sometime in early 2007 as a way to journal my journey to my first marathon. It was for personal documentation only….My training process and progress.

When the marathon was completed I decided to start a personal and family journal through a blog. I have a somewhat unhealthy fear of dying young as my father passed away at the age of 28 (when I was 5y/o). I have very few memories of my father and know very little about him. I started blogging strictly to make sure that if, in fact, I do die young, my children will have something of me to read….and will know who their mother was.

Earlier this year…March or April….I started to discover this huge land of blogging mothers. I just hadn’t looked at blogging as a means of meeting people up until then. And now, my goodness, I’m hooked….I’ve met so many fantastic people…some funny, some insightful, some inspiring…..it’s just a great way to feel normal as a parent and connected to the world as a human being.

EVERYthing. Which is why I don’t let my kids read my blog. My husband has strict instruction (upon my untimely death….morbid…I know) to share the blog with them when they’re adults.

I have too many favorites to list but you can find them on my blog.

Nope, no advice, just have fun with it.

That’s one of the best parts of blogging…making friends and “chatting” with them.

I have a few loyal family and friend readers…but most of them don’t have blogs of their own and they think I’m a nut.

I’m not sure what is meant by “forums” but if you’re referring to the “Tackle it Tuesdays” and “Wordless Wednesdays” then yes I visit…I wouldn’t say regularly…but maybe semi-regularly. I visit as often as time allows.

Hehe….I have a laptop now…I blog anywhere….life is good.

Too much! Nuf said!
