To put my life in perspective and to enjoy creating something that doesn’t get eaten, trampled or broken 5 minutes after it’s created.

January, 2008. I hesitated because I’m so thin-skinned. I think when the team huddles at a football game, they’re talking trash about me.

Food. Cooking is fun for me. I’ve been gradually improving since age 7 when I took over for the family. I can now officially make a grilled cheese.

Simple Daily Recipes is made by one of my great friends, Jill. Letters from Kamp Krusty makes me laugh and think every time I read it. This guy’s a genius.

Do it for fun. Ignore the naysayers. Don’t worry if anyone’s reading it. It’s cathartic.

Of course.

Sometimes. I think they see a whole other side of me that they’re a little frightened of.

Who has time?

Usually in my stunning studio apartment across from the Eiffel Tower…in my dreams.

As much time as the kids will let me.

Rarely. I usually go by word of mouth.

Well, I’ve been working in computers for 25 (I mean, 2) years…I’m so young, you know.

Southern Hospitality with my good friend and southern belle, Rhoda, who has fantastic style and taste.

Nature…my kids…music…a bag of Fig Newtons.

It’s a journal of sorts. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that people are actually interested in what I have to say. With my kids, I kind of forgot that.
