Blogging gives me an opportunity to indulge my passion for writing while providing helpful resources for a population I care deeply about: families that are affected by autism and other disabilities.

I started the Autism Assistance Resources and Information blog a about a month ago.

I blog about grants, financial assistance, funding strategies and other resources to help families that are coping with autism and other disabilities.

Mother of Confusion and My Mama Drama are two of my favorites.

Blog about your passion. Writing and research come easily when you are working with a topic you care deeply about.

Yes! I love it when visitors leave comments. I often communicate with my blog visitors via comments, email and social networking sites.

Yes. I have many friends in the autism community and they tell me they find my blog both helpful and enjoyable.

I try to check out as many autism and disability-related forums as possible. I like to stay as connected with the community as possible.

My blog is hosted on Blogger.com. The URL is:

I do. But I mainly find new blogs by checking out the blogrolls on blogs I like.

Families that are doing everything possible to help their children who have special needs lead a productive, meaningful and fulfilling life inspire me immensely.

I’ve learned more about my topic, myself, other people and the world we live in as a result of blogging. I have definitely been influenced, encouraged and challenged by other blogs I’ve read. On occasion, I’ve even been outraged by them.
