Quite simply, blogging is therapeutic. I enjoy creating, whether it’s composing a photo or an essay. Blogging allows me to do that.

I started blogging in mid-December 2006.

I mostly blog about my son and my fairly new life as a stay-at-home mom. I took on the name “Just Mom,” not because I think I’m “only” a mom, but because after years of being defined by my career I’m relishing the fact that I can just be me: a mom to a wonderful little boy.

Heavens, yes! That’s why I’m somewhat selective about what part of my life I’m willing to share.

I blog from my home office whenever the mood strikes, which, unfortunately, is quite often.
