I just love writing! My college degree is in English and Journalism, but since having my children and choosing to stay home, I’ve had very few opportunities to write. My blog has been a terrific creative outlet for me, and it keeps me connected to the outside world! I’ve met many amazing, creative, inspiring women through blogging.

I started blogging while on bedrest during my second pregnancy.

Parenting, organization, Christianity, thrift and frugality, home keeping, cooking and recipes, and of course, my family!

Write about what you know and love.

Yes! I love hearing opinions and ideas from my readers. Comments make me happy!

My parents, and many of my friends from MOPS and church read my blog. It always surprises me when I run into someone at the grocery store or something, and they say, “I read your blog EVERY DAY!” I never expect that anyone would care enough about my little old blog to read it every day!

At home, in my kitchen, every morning (except weekends).

I also write a frugal foods blog called Economical Eats. This blog is chock full of yummy, thrifty recipes for families on a budget.

Blogging has made my life happier and more fun! I really look forward to writing every day, and I’ve met wonderful people from all over the world. My blog has opened up a whole new world of fellowship, inspiration and ideas.
