I began blogging to share with friends who would ask, “Where did you get that” or “What was the name of that book?” I’m known for excessive researching whether it’s a new stroller or hair bows for my daughter, and the blog was an easy way to share my finds.
I’ve only been blogging for a few months and still have a lot to learn.
I blog about the products and resources I find for moms, babies and kids like the coolest changing pad or the best website for babies and toddlers.
I’m a huge fan of the Babycenter “birth clubs” and regularly check in on the July 06 and March 08 boards. My favorite, though, is a site called Citymommy which allows moms to network with other moms in their area.
Now with two little ones at home blogging time usually occurs during naptime and occasionally on weekends when dad is around.
Since I also own a cosmetics company called “Ispiri” (Italian for inspire) this is an important question for me. The premise of the company is putting inspirational quotes on the cosmetics. I am inspired most by a quote by George Eliot: “It is never too late to be who you might have been.” This encourages me to keep trying new things–like blogging!
