I blog because my mind is overflowing with ideas that I just have to share!

In 2002 I started a website selling products I designed and showcasing ideas people could make themselves. From that I published a book called Inspirational Home: simple ideas for uplifting decor and craft. I recently sold that website in order to focus just on design. I may do another book, but for now I need time to get back into my art, and with young children, time is scarce! This blog gives me an alternate creative outlet.

My blog is a creative idea resource. It’s full of inspiring ideas that anyone can make at home. The ideas aren’t limited to just one medium, but cover a host of materials that require practically no crafting experience. If you are talented in one area or another, you can take my basic idea and run with it!

I cover all sorts of topics and occasions: gift ideas, everyday home decor, ideas to bless others, projects for holidays, unique celebrations … and on and on. I’m just getting started!

I love to hear from visitors! It’s neat to hear how people have recreated my own ideas with their own twist and which ideas people are drawn to.
