Interview with Michele from “The Integrated Mother Blog”

Initially, I started blogging as a marketing tool for my business. Then, it evolved to a cathartic release as I meandered through the ambiguous, often perilous, journey called “working motherhood.” Now, I blog because I know that through my experiences, honesty and writing that I can impact people in a positive way.

2005

I blog about things that have happened to me, research I’ve done in the area of work/life effectiveness, as well as events and resources my readers (mostly working moms and some dads) may find interesting.

Yes! I only wish more people would comment on my blog! I receive a lot of off line emails from my readers, which is great, but my vision is to build a community where visitors can read the blog and interact with me and other readers.

My favorite forums are Work It Mom and Bookie Boo.

Usually, I blog early in the morning before the kids wake up and my day gets into full swing.

I spend about an 30-60 minutes a day writing for my blog, or doing something blog-related. I probably spend more time than I should reading other blogs!

My greatest inspiration comes from God and my children. God is my rock and my children are my mirrors and windows through which I see the world with clarity and direct honesty.

This feels like a shameless plug…I do have another website. It’s for my Arbonne business. Before you puke and discard my credibility as a working professional, just research the concept of networking marketing first. I used to find the whole idea of network marketing so distasteful, but I’ve learned that it’s an amazing way for anyone (especially time-starved moms) to earn residual income. My other site is http://michele.myaronne.com.
