Because I simply MUST. It is truely a compulsion from the day I started….I feel absolutely compelled to re-tell the events of my life and to make others see the comedy in them. There is really no other platform for this kind of expression….I mean you can’t walk up to the guy at the grocery store and tell him ‘oh my kid did the funniest thing EVER today!’…well I mean you can’t do that EVERY day.

Okay go ahead and prepare your laugh now….for less than a 8 months! But the response has been great and more importantly I am having a wonderful time. I really feel I found myself with this….

My kids, my family, my friends, the occasional problem…just about anything that happens in my life that I think is funny. And that could be ANYTHING. So watch out. If you and I meet- and you make me laugh- chances are it will make the blog. But hey- then you will be practically almost famous, so it works out for both of us.

Oh so many! But Emphasis Mine was the first Blog I ever read- EVER. I had never read any other blog in my life. And after leaving way to many (and too long) comments there- it was suggested I blog too. And the rest is history. But I love, Prose and Converse, and We are THAT Family and Blah Blah Blog………Oh I could read Blogs for HOURS (and do!) They inspire me.

None. I am new too- But if you get any good advice could you please pass it on to me? I can always use good advice.

That is a joke question right? I have yet to meet any blogger who DOESN’T love and adore comments. It is our validation. It is the dialogue we are all hungry for….comments mean the world to me. And because of this- I continue to comment like crazy on other blogs every day. It is part of my good deed program…

Yes and no….my mom does- and that is really important to me. And most of my other friends/family do to I think. My husband does on occassion- just enough to raze me about mentioning this or that. And now he likes to say ‘are you going to blog about this?’ anytime something makes me laugh. Oh and honey- the answer is ‘yes I am’.

I don’t know what a forum is…..ya, I am that lame.

I blog in my home, in my lovely office…..And I blog all day long. But I find I am very creative in the middle of the night. But I have to type quietly- quite a skill actually.

would 40 hours a week sound pathetic? If it does then I will say 25 hours. That sounds pretty bad too…um lets go with an even 15 hours……oh who cares…I adore it!

I can not for the life of me figure out how to use those. I generally look on the link lists on my favorite blogs to find more. Or if an interesting comment I read has a link I check it out….

I googled “OC MOM” and found Emphasis Mine blog. I mean I knew blogging existed…..but I thought it was more for geeky (okay I am geeky) techie types……I had no idea it was such a fabulous world of amazing people with so much to say

Are you even listening to me interviewer? I told you Emphasis Mine by Suzanne Broughton. Jeez-Louise..next question please.

Jealousy. If I am jealous of someone’s fabulous post, or their comedy dialogue….I almost instantly feel a blog coming on (Yes, and they come over me like the vapors and I run to the keyboard to get releif). And of course my kids….is there anything more inspiring? And and Helen Keller…she is pretty darn inspiring too. She would have been a heck of a blogger…

YES-thank you for asking!

I am a photographer….check me out at

And call me to photograph your beautiful children! (I just know they are beautiful)

Blogging has changed everything for me. I feel contented and happy, challenged and satisfied like never before. I feel authentic and honest and totally exposed. I feel like I finally (FINALLY) found the outlet I have been looking for…….

And my laundry pile has never been higher. That is a huge impact blogging has had.
