My Opinion Counts

I work so much that I often feel isolated from people who are reading, making crafts and cooking. I like to learn things from other bloggers.

I began blogging in 2003 when a friend on a message board talked about her blog. I thought it sounded like a fun way to journal things happening in my life.

I blog about my latest sewing projects, what crazy things my dogs have done and places where we have traveled. I blog about my kids and things going on in their lives. I blog about things that make me mad and things that make me laugh.

I love to read my friend Elizabeth’s blog at Table4Five, Drew at The BenSpark, my sister, Lynne’s blogs at Sewingmom and Itsmyimagination. If I want to find out what my kids are up to, I can find out at my son’s blog’s Speakerg and Greg the Pappa Bear. My daughter rarely has time to blog but when she does I read her posts at CapnStace.

I learn a lot of ways to improve my blog at Im Blogging That written by a great blogger, Katy. Another great blogger is Val at I know everything, just ask my hubby. I better stop. I have a whole list of blogs that I read a few times a week. They feel like my friends and I have to see what they have to say. I would hate to miss something.

When you comment on other people’s blogs, make real comments. Comments with value. Write as if you are having a conversation with someone you enjoy talking with.

Oh yes! I love it when someone thinks I have said something worth commenting on.

Yes, several of my off line friends read my blogs. My mom and another sister read my blogs.

I like to blog early in the morning while sitting in my living room with a cup of coffee.

I’m afraid I might get committed to the loony bin if I admit how much time I spend writing and reading blogs. Let’s just say, it is a lot.

Not usually. I find blogs through other bloggers.

A friend on a message board told me about her blog. I thought it would be fun and a good way to journal.

It might have been Laura’s blog at LaLaGirl, Twinfinite Chaos.

I am inspired by people who take risks.

The Pond, a href=”http://www.chatbugkaren.com/myroad”>My Road, where I talk about traveling and Winding Threads where I put up pictures of the quilts and purses I make. I also talk about books and movies on Winding Threads.

I feel so much more control over my well being. Instead of being alone, I can keep in touch with other bloggers who have become my friends. I have learned that I need to go back to school for some grammar lessons! LOL

I have learned that there are some wonderful people out there who struggle everyday and I am very lucky. I thank the Lord for blessing me with such a wonderful life.
