Interview with Toni from “It Is Nap Time”

I have found blogging to be a little addictive for me. I blog to help myself keep up with myself. That sounds a little crazy, I know but blogging has somehow helped me be more productive and stay on track with my exercise and eating better. I really didn’t know that this large blogging world existed and I stay in it because I find that it helps me.

I blog about my days. I vent some and if I think I have a cool idea I share it. I would love to become more creative with my blogging but being a stay at home mom only lends so much time for me to blog (I could probably get more in but I need 8 hours sleep and have a few favorite TV shows I like to watch once Hunter goes to bed!)

I have met several blogging buddies since I started doing this. I regularly check out http://mummydiariesblog.com, http://www.theotherhuse.blogspot.com, http://thediaperdiaries.wordpress.com, my husbands blog: http://bradbrandt.blogspot.com, http://awholelotofnothing.net and of course Five Minutes for Mom! There are several others listed on my blog that everyone should check out.

I love when people comment. I make it a point to visit their site and comment as well!

I have been very protective of this from people I know. My husband and mother do read it, and other than that I have not shared it. I am afraid I will tend to be more reserved if I know that a lot of people I know offline are reading it.

I blog at home during nap time…

I probably spend an average of 2 hours per day blogging.

I knew blogs existed but didn’t really understand the magnitude. I guess I decided to start one after reading an article in a magazine.

I am inspired by my family, my husband, my son, my Mom, my Dad, my 92 year old grandmother and most of the family in between. I am inspired by amazing everyday people who take care of themselves and others. I am inspired by people who dig in and pull themselves up. I am inspired by the Bible and by God’s grace. I am inspired by kind souls. I am inspired by people who are coping with tough things but still manage a smile and a kind word.

I really think that blogging has impacted my life in a positive way. I read other blogs about things people are going through and I realize how blessed I am or I read a blog about a Mom going through the same thing I am and I realize that not being perfect is normal. I will say that if I had to stop blogging I would definately miss it!
