“Safe In HIS Arms”
I started blogging after we lost our son Brent. I still maintain his caringbridge site, but I found that I needed somewhere for myself, just to ramble.. 
I’d LOVE to help people see that JESUS is ENOUGH. HE carries us through our trials, and no matter how we’re hurting - there is still JOY in HIM.
I tend to blog about whatever is on my heart at the moment. Sometimes is a story about Brent, sometimes it’s a “funny” on the boys, or it may be sharing what GOD has recently shown me.
My favorite blogs belong to people that are lighthearted. I enjoy “hanging” with my sisters - those that can laugh at themselves. CHEERY & FUN blogs are what draw me in. Of course I LOVE it when they’re all centered around JESUS!
JESUS inspires me…. I LOVE that HE loves us even when we’re unlovable. I LOVE that HE carries our burdens. I LOVE that HE helps us to learn to laugh again when our world falls apart around us.
Brent inspires me. He was the MOST AMAZING kid, EVER! He never complained or felt sorry for himself, he ALWAYS met each new day with the attitude of PRAISE & THANKSGIVING. Brent was a character - so FULL OF LIFE and LOVE.
Zach & Gabe inspire me… they help me to be joyful and to find silly things in EVERYTHING. Their funny antics always keep us laughing! =-)
I’m SO VERY THANKFUL for the family that GOD has given me.
We kept up a website for Brent throughout his battle. It’s SO FULL of LOVE and FAITH. Brent’s last days on earth were truly miraculous. You can read about his conversations with GOD (before he went to HEAVEN) in his journal history. Those conversations began in the middle of December 06. He went HOME to be with JESUS on January 2, 2007.
Blogging has been such a BLESSING for me. I’ve met so many wonderful new friends. Some even dealing with the same struggles I face. I love my new home in “blogland” and am ALWAYS THRLILED to have someone “over”…. I LOVE to meet and make new friends! =-)
