I blog because I think my message is important to families and is sort of a taboo subject. Most families don’t know how to discuss race or even cultural differences with their children. If I can inform families and parents to the benefits of doing this, and how to integrate other cultural customs into everyday life, then I feel like I have done something to make people more accepting and caring towards one another.

I have been blogging since November when my site and business launched, but just started getting SERIOUS about it in January when my blog was redesigned.

I typically blog about cultural issues, companies that are culturally diverse or produce products that are multicultural, children and race, ethnicity, equality, etc. I also try to do a fun post each month about a specific holiday that takes place during that month and how it is celebrated around the world by different cultures.

I usually blog in my office when I think of something interesting to say or when I read something I want to comment on or give recognition to.

I spend a lot of time, probably an hour per day writing my business and personal blogs and reading other blogs.

I have a business website for my multicultural children’s clothing line at:
and I have a personal blog about my life as the wife of a Major League Baseball Hubby at:

It has really connected me to people that are interested in my message and to family and friends that want to know what’s going on in our lives. I like knowing that others can benefit from my messages and feel like they have a place that they can go to feel like they are part of a community or closer to us as a family.
