The Serendipitous Life

Blogging has become an excuse for getting me to write quickly. Sometimes the perfectionist takes over and I wind up doing more “planning” on writing than actually writing. Blogging has allowed me to just write (with minimal editing) and publish.

Since November 2007, so I’m still a newbie.

Whatever pops into my head, although I’m trying to stick to a regular schedule of themes.

365 Days of Trash, Four Obsessions: Reading, Writing, Cooking and Crafting, The Naked Truth About Literature and Life, A Beautiful Abode… oh, the list can go on and on.

Sometimes I do.

Some say they do but for most blogging is still this rather strange cult world.

I’m inspired by everything. I’m always amazed when I hear people talk about writer’s block. Man, I guess what I have is a case of the writer’s runs. I’m filled to brimming with ideas, if only I had the time to pursue them all.

I wouldn’t say I’ve learned about myself from blogging. Blogging has helped me be less critical of my writing.
