I’ve been blogging for over ten years. Ya know, before it was cool. I’ve always done it as an outlet, to just express myself. I type faster than I write, and it’s been a wonderful way to keep up with life’s events.
For over ten years. I started at my then boyfriend’s domain when I was 15. Then I moved to pitas.com (when we broke up) then to diaryland, then finally to livejournal. Then I wanted something our families could follow so I bought Live Laugh Blog
I keep a record of what’s going on in our daughters’ lives. Also about my walk with Christ.
My Women’s Bible Study group started reading it. Man, that will totally discourage any gossiping to go on! They really are able to keep me in check. But it’s also a way for them to get to know me on a more personal level.
Also, my ten year old niece loves to read it.
I usually blog during nap times or after the girls are in bed. And I do it in our office. How I long for a lap top.
I probably check them daily and write in mine atleast 5 times a week.
It wasn’t called blogging back then. It was just keeping an online journal/diary. I don’t really know when or why I started.
I think it’s really helped encourage me. I know that through reading other Christian Womens’ blogs, I’ve learned more about them and their faith and have grown in my own. I really appreciate the honesty someone can have for a whole group of strangers. And how that honesty connects people.
