Interview with jubilee from “notes of jubilee”

“notes of jubilee”

http://notesofjubilee.blogspot.com

The purpose of my blog is four-fold. 1. To keep myself focused on the joy that can be found in any situation while I am waiting for the Lord to take me home 2. To keep a record of our family life (my memory is as short as I am) 3. To have a place to share what goes on in the Jubilant household with family, friends, regular readers and anyone else that happens by. 4. To keep the creative juices flowing while I discover my voice for that future novel knockin’ around in my head.

I have been blogging since October of 2007 and I can’t imagine why I didn’t start sooner.

Everyday happenings in the Jubilant household, recipes, book reviews, funny stuff that my kids do and say and the occasional giveaway.

I subscribe to 25+ different blogs, but my favorites are Scribbit, Rocks in My Dryer, It Coulda Been Worse, Boo Mama, Big Mama and The Diaper Diaries. I always know I can go to any of these blogs and either be challenged or have a good laugh or both.

I try to personally respond to comments through emails or by visiting the commenter’s blog if they have one.

I am blessed to have several family members and friends who read my blog. It’s great to know they are hanging around and are interested enough to check in on me now and again.

Scribbit was the first blog I read with any regularity. And I was hooked right away. At first it felt weird to peek into someone else’s life at their invitation (not that I’d peek without someone’s invitation, of course). From there I explored the blogs in her blog roll, which lead to other blogs, which lead to even more blogs . . . you get the idea.

Blogging has given me the opportunity to express and further explore who I am while trying to give God the glory He deserves.
