Interview with Misty from “Rainy Day in May”

I began blogging as a way to reach out to other mom’s going through the same struggles I found myself facing. I was raising a child with RAD and found that most of my real life friends found little time or room for our trials.
Now I continue to blog because I found it was something I love to do. Something which challenged me.

Total, for just over three years.

My life, which feels overwhelmingly random at times. I blog about my daughter and her growth and emotional special needs. I blog about what God has done in my life, my work in the entertainment industry and other random tidbits.

Do it because you love it, not because you hope to see acclaim.

At times I do, yes.

A very small handful.

I blog on my Blogspot several times a week, and then maintain a more goal oriented blog on my myspace.

Probably an hour or two, total- most days.

People who overcome. Whether it’s abuse, addiction, infertility or what-have-you… I think every overcoming story is one of immense inspiration!

Wow! That’s a loaded question. Though I could give a lot more detail, in a nutshell I’d say it’s opened my eyes and heart to many different people that I might not have thought twice of before. It’s challenged my beliefs and given me a clearer view of so much about this life I live.
