Since we found out we were having triplets (which turned into finding out we were expecting quadruplets 2 weeks later) - almost 2 years
The more honest and “real” you write, the more comfortable and willing people will be to reading your blog. It takes out the competitive comparison when you can laugh about your mistakes with strangers.

Through blogging we’ve started a charity of sorts. We are making NICU (Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit) Survival Kits through the advertising profits from our blog for parents of preemies. It’s a way we can give back to others who have faced the uncertainty and fears of the NICU and share our success story for others.

Also through a blog post we were chosen for a commercial for our hospital, St. Vincent Women’s Hospital of Indianapolis. Just goes to show that blogging can be a powerful media outlet!
