Blogging is like online scrapbooking for me. I get to journal the daily things that happen in our lives and look back at them and laugh on a tough day. Like when our son took a few steps back in his potty training adventures.

I blog primarily about normal, everyday things. Sometimes my thoughts, my kids, my walk with God. Sometimes about handbags….

I blog whenever the urge to do so hits, which is usually at the exact same moment one of my kids needs me.

I was reading Lisa Whelchel’s Weekly Journal where she recommended In the Midst of It. It is such a beautiful blog that I’ve been hooked ever since!

All sorts of things, but lately the beauty of the life around me and knowing that God created it for our enjoyment.

Blogging has really helped me to find the humour in the daily things that happen. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed with those little things, especially with three kids! By being on the watch for interesting things to journal, I am (sometimes!) more easily able to overlook the annoyances and focus instead on the funny or sweet things of the moment.
