“mod*mom”
i started mod*mom as a baby blog, but it also became a design blog, creative outlet + distraction from breast cancer + now i love giving away fabulous modern products that i love + would recommend anyway. it’s great to have a place to show + tell about things + people i’m interested in, + it’s amazing to connect with people all over the world.
i startedmod*mom in 2004 as a baby journal to keep write about what she was doing + places we went + things we saw or wanted + pictures i took. but she kept me so busy, i didn’t get to spend much time blogging until 2006 when she was 2 + weaning.
i’m crazy about mod, modern, futuristic + space age design, products, technology, art, music, books, blogs + adventures. i also write monthly breast cancer updates/reminders to check yourself. come by + enter my fabulous giveaways.
i LOVE visitor comments, but i am a bit shy online to write much personal stuff + i never post pictures of our family or home. i envy bloggers who share it all + i enjoy their personal pictures + home tours. their readers comment more + get to know them. mod*mom has so many nonpersonal pictures, it’s like a gallery. i have a large readership + thousands of subscribers to my feed + email updates, but few comments unless i’m hosting a giveaway. i wish i’d get more.
